Interactive Media Services

Course Management

The University of Arkansas utilizes WebCT and Blackboard for online course materials. The Center for Continuing Education assists faculty with developing online courses.

Compressed Interactive Video (CIV)

CIV is used for distance education and provides a way for the instructor and students in different locations to interact audiovisually in real time. more information

SMART Technology

SMART technology is available in all COEHP classrooms and allows instructors to use digital ink to write or draw over other applications, capture notes, images and files during class, and save them in one file. more information

Tegrity

Tegrity is a system that allows instructors to record video and/or audio while presenting a PowerPoint, recording screenshots of other windows, or using a document projector. The presentation is then uploaded to a server where students can access the files and view them with their Internet connection or download for later viewing. more information

Web Development

The College of Education and Health Professions now uses RedDot content manager to organize the college Web site. This allows departments to easily and quickly update their news, faculty/staff information, and other content. more information
