SMART sympodium in Graduate Education buildingSMART technology is available in all COEHP classrooms and allows instructors use digital ink to write or draw over other applications, capture notes, images, and files during class, and save them in one file. Students can then have a copy of the class lecture and activities.

For classrooms with sympodiums, features include:

For classrooms with interactive whiteboards, features include:

  • Touch-sensitive surface where you can use your finger to draw or write. Your contact with the whiteboard is converted into mouse clicks or digital ink.
  • SMART pen tray with colored markers and an eraser.
  • "Save" function where you can save your notes to Notebook or Microsoft Office applications.
  • Notebook whiteboarding software to allow to you create, organize, and save notes, drawings, and screen captures. See SMART notebook tutorial.
  • Smart board tools, including on-screen keyboard and write-over video software
