Scholarship Applications Under Review
Personnel in the dean's office of the College of Education and Health Professions are processing scholarship applications for the 2006-2007 academic year. Applications are being considered for the upcoming summer, fall and spring semesters. The dean's office expects to notify students of the awards in April.
More than 80 scholarships are available through the college. During the last academic year, 100 students received scholarship support. Some students received multiple awards, and the total amount offered was $351,525.
The dean's office accepts scholarship applications each year from Dec. 1 through Jan. 31 for the following year. The college's online application form allows students to be considered for all college scholarships for which they meet selection criteria. Students are e-mailed for further instructions if they qualify for scholarships that require additional materials to be submitted. Only one application per student is required.
