Professional Biography:

Wendy Sisson has been a registered nurse since 1974 and has experience in critical care, family and pediatric clinic nursing, camp nursing, and school nursing. Her clinical practice as a nurse practitioner has been in family practice and geriatrics. She began teaching nursing in 2002 at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She joined the Eleanor Mann faculty in 2006 and maintains her clinical practice one day a week in a geriatric setting.

Job Duties:

Mrs. Sisson has taught mental health nursing, community nursing, older adult nursing  and both graduate and undergraduate Health Assessment.

Academic Interests and Accomplishments:

Mrs. Sisson's teaching focus is health assessment and geriatrics. She is an active member of Pi Theta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Nursing Honor Society. She is also a member of the American Nurses Association and the American College of Nurse Practitioners.
