Internship evaluations: The deadline for internship evaluations to be turned in is Oct. 1. Any student who will enter the MAT during the summer of 2008, or doing a student teaching experience in the spring of 2008 or the fall of 2008, must complete an internship evaluation. The link to forms can be found in the left menu on this page. Completed forms should be given to the Coordinator of Teacher Education Kathy Malstrom in 117 Peabody Hall.
PRAXIS requirement: Arkansas law specifies that each application for a teacher's license or request to add an additional licensure area must be supported by the appropriate PRAXIS I and PRAXIS II score(s) as part of their Teacher Licensing Packet. The entire packet is distributed to the candidates in April at a general meeting held at both the Fayetteville and Rogers campus. For more information, contact the Coordinator of Teacher Education Kathy Malstrom at kkmalst@uark.edu.
NWACC students will meet in the summer on the NWACC campus prior to student teaching.
