Here are some of the degrees offered by the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions which can lead to a career in nursing.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing prepares graduates for hospital, school and community settings where they manage acute and chronic patient care and promote health and wellness. Nursing professionals specialize in geriatrics, dialysis, oncology, emergency, hospice and many other areas of health care.

Master of Science in Nursing Online Clinical Program

The online Master of Science degree in nursing will prepare graduates to serve as clinical nurse specialists for adults with medical/surgical health problems. Clinical practicum courses require students to be in clinical settings three contact hours per week. The program is cohort-based and can be completed in 2 1/2 years as a full-time student or in 3 1/2 years as a part-time student. Students may begin either cohort in the Fall semester of 2007.
