Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program

The TEACH Grant Program is one of many federal student aid programs and was established under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA) to benefit current and prospective teachers. Scholarships of $4,000 per year are available for undergraduates who want to go into the teaching profession. Those seeking a master's degree in teaching are eligible for scholarships of up to $8,000. This new grant is available as of the 2008-2009 academic school year.

To learn more about the TEACH Grant Program, please check out the Federal Student Aid Web site at http://www.studentaid.ed.gov/PORTALSWebApp/students/english/TEACH.jsp.
