Professional Biography:

Kate Mamiseishvili joined the University of Arkansas as an assistant professor of higher education in 2008 after completing her doctorate at the University of Missouri in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, with an emphasis on Higher and Continuing Education Administration. Prior to this position, she served as an evaluation coordinator in the Department of Student Life at the University of Missouri. In addition, while working on her doctoral degree, she served in multiple research and teaching venues. Kate also taught overseas at Akaki Tsereteli State University in her home country of Georgia. She has been active in national professional associations, and served as a managing editor of the NASPA journal About Women Higher Education. She received 2010 Rising S.T.A.R. and 2012 S.T.A.R. Awards from the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions in recognition of her research, teaching, advising, and service.
