The College of Education and Health Professions is composed of five departments of study that offer students a wealth of undergraduate and graduate choices in their professional preparation. The College of Education and Health Professions' departments are housed in buildings across campus: the Graduate Education Building, the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) building, Ozark Hall, Peabody Hall, the Speech and Hearing Clinic, and the West Avenue Annex.

As of July 1, 2007, degree programs within the former Department of Educational Leadership, Counseling and Foundations were reassigned as follows: educational administration, educational foundations and educational technology to the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and higher education and counselor education to the Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders.

In addition, the College of Education and Health Professions' distance education classes are offered in several locations across Arkansas, and the Boyer Center for Student Services, the "one-stop" advising source for all College of Education and Health Professions students, is also available online.
