Five Mann School Students Chosen to Work
at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas

For nursing student Christin Cooke, an experience last summer helped her make up her mind about becoming a pediatric oncology nurse.

She and four other seniors in the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing – Rachel Dahl, Kate Delph, Emily Donnelli and Meagan Williamson – spent the summer working at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. The hospital is a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions. Read more »

College Benefactor Honored as Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser

David Banks of Fayetteville was honored as the Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser at the 7th Annual Northwest Arkansas National Philanthropy Day Luncheon on Nov. 19.

According to the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, this award is presented to individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in fundraising, devote significant time and effort to charitable causes and show a deep commitment to the advancement of philanthropy. Scholarships Honoring Athletic Trainers Awarded

Future Principals Think on Their Feet During Walk-Throughs

Faculty in the educational leadership program in the College of Education and Health Professions believe strongly that real-world experience is vital for students. Many of those enrolled are already employed as teachers or coaches, and the program that will prepare them for administrative leadership positions affords them the opportunity to learn by doing.
