University of Arkansas Presents Service Awards to College Personnel

The College of Education and Health Professions will present service awards to faculty and staff members at its spring meeting May 1 on the University of Arkansas campus.

Recognition for 10 years of service goes to:

  • David Coffey, secretary, curriculum and instruction
  • Carleton Holt, associate professor of educational leadership
  • Kathy Malstrom, coordinator of teacher education
  • Dianne Stout, director of information services
  • Kim Worlow, research assistant, Center for Utilization of Rehabilitation Resources for Education, Networking, Training and Service
  • Marilyn McGehee, instructor of communication disorders

Recognition for 20 years of service goes to:

  • Barbara Gartin, professor of special education
  • Stephen J. Langsner, assistant dean for academic affairs
  • Merry Moiseichik, professor of recreation
  • Betsy Orr, associate professor of career and technical education
  • Paula Pottenger, organizational consultant, Center for Utilization of Rehabilitation Resources for Education, Networking, Training and Service
  • Susan Slaughter, training advisor, Early Care and Education Projects
  • Angie Smith-Nix, clinical assistant professor of kinesiology

Recognition for 30 years of service goes to:

  • Bobbie Biggs, professor of workforce development
  • Theresa Cronan, instructor of childhood education
  • Dean Gorman, professor of kinesiology
  • Barbara Shadden, professor of communication disorders
