Professional Biography:
Jamie Banks holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She is a graduate of Westminster College, Fulton, Mo., with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Jamie is a member of national, state, and local chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Prior to her work at the university, Jamie worked for U.S. Senators Blanche L. Lincoln and Mark Pryor as a state and national fundraiser.
Job Duties:
As the Director of Development, Jamie’s primary responsibility is to initiate, coordinate, and secure all private fundraising opportunities for the college. These activities include identifying potential new donors, cultivation of future and current donor relations, gift solicitation, donor proposal delivery, and stewardship of existing donors. The sources for private fundraising opportunities are found in a combination of college and university alumni, other interested individuals, corporations, and private foundations.
