Research Interests:

Dr. Davis has served on numerous proposal review panels.  Her research interests are related to education policy issues and she actively participates in research, proposal and teaching activities.

Dr. Davis has been with the University of Arkansas since 1998.

Professional Associations: National Council of University Researchers (NCURA), Society of Research Administrators (SRA), American Educational Research Association (AERA), Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM), Politics of Education Association (PEA). 

 

Job Duties:

Dr. Davis serves as the Director of Research for the College of Education and Health Professions and as a Research Assistant Professor of Education Reform. In her capacity as Director of Research she collaborates in proposal development activites with the college's faculty, coordinates a program to identify funding opportunities for research and outreach programs, and coordinates in-service training programs. Dr. Davis is also responsible for organizing, centralizing and coordinating within the Dean's office the day-to-day research and grant administration activities for the college and increasing the involvement of students (both graduate and undergraduate) in funded research and outreach activities.
