College of Education and Health Professions

CLASS Schedule

The College Council of the College of Education and Health Professions invites faculty, staff and students to attend the COEHP Luncheon Academic Seminar Series, or CLASS.

The April CLASS session will be "A Dedicated Education Unit as a Nursing Honors Student's Clinical Learning Environment" presented by Nan Smith-Blair, associate professor of nursing

The session will be at noon Wednesday, April 17, in the Graduate Education Building auditorium foyer.

The deadline to RSVP for lunch has passed.

Each CLASS luncheon will begin at noon, usually on the third Thursday of the month, in the foyer of the Graduate Education Building auditorium, room 166. The sessions will each feature a panel of two to three presentations. The seminars are sponsored by the dean's office and the College Council with lunch provided.

The College Council initiated the CLASS luncheons to nurture the college's scholarly community, provide a forum in which faculty and staff share their work with peers, and foster future collaborations. Ultimately, these sessions should promote a greater understanding of the diverse ways in which College of Education and Health Professions faculty and staff work toward the shared mission of improving education and health outcomes for Arkansans.
