Cynthia is a presenter and an active member of many Local, Regional, and National Professional organizations for Early Childhood and Education. She has served as Team Chair and Team member for NAEYC, ECADA, and NCATE Accreditation Teams across the United States of Two and Four year institutions both public and private.
She has served on many committees, most recently, Faculty Senate, Faculty Evaluation Plan, Institutional Assessment and Data, and the Association of Arkansas Women in Higher Education.
Volunteer for Local, National, and Global Community organizations that serve children and families.

Cynthia has served in various teaching roles and environments with children from Pre-school ages to Graduate Level Adults in Arkansas for over 30 years. She has been a team member of Africa Reads, Inc., an organization to teach English and train Educators for Best Practices of Literacy Learning in the public and private schools of Kigali, Rwanda. This work was also instrumental in establishing a LIbrary Cooperative for the schools.
