Dr. Kindall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Arkansas.  She currently serves as the program coordinator for the Childhood and Elementary Education programs.  She also serves in the role of Director for the University of Arkansas Clinic for Literacy and Co-Director for the University of Arkansas New Teacher Academy. 

Research interests include literacy education and assessment in the elementary schools, the process of teacher change, and the impact of authentic and intensive experiences on teacher preparation and retention.
