Ms Sisson has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1999. Ms. Sisson has been involved in nursing education since 2000,  first at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, then University of Arkansas. She has taught the following courses at UA: Community Nursing, Nursing Concepts in Older Adults, Health Assessment, Mental Health Nursing  didactic and clinical, and pathophysiology. She has also taught health assessment  in the RN-to-BSN program and the MSN program.
