College of Education and Health Professions Scholarships

The College of Education and Health Professions awarded more than $374,000 in scholarship funding to over 199 talented and deserving students for the 2007-2008 academic year. Alumni, friends of the University of Arkansas, corporations, and foundations -- concerned with keeping the College of Education and Health Professions affordable and accessible to high-achieving students seeking a quality educational experience -- fund these scholarships through generous donations.

Scholarships are only offered to students in the College of Education and Health Professions pursuing a major in one of the following departments:

The scholarship application is an online application that matches students with a list of scholarships that they are eligible for. Each scholarship has specific criteria which applicants must meet, such as enrollment in a specific program or discipline, resident of a particular county, demonstrated leadership ability, or a specified GPA (among others). The scholarship application period for the fall 2008 and spring 2009 closed Thursday, January 31, 2008. Once the application period closes, committees comprised of faculty within each department of the college select the scholarship recipients. Applicants will be informed of selections by mid-April 2008.
