My expertise and teaching interest is in secondary science teacher preparation. My primary research interest includes prospective science teachers’ knowledge development as it pertains to inquiry-based instruction. Currently I am a Master Teacher in the UAteach Program where I teach science pedagogy courses and supervise secondary math and science teacher candidates. Prior to coming to the University, I enjoyed working and teaching at the community college level for 4 years and teaching high school science for 18 years.
