I spent twenty-three years in K-12 public education prior to my current position as Associate Director of Instructional Leadership/DESE Liason. I believe my calling is in the realm of education. My career path spans from classroom teacher at all levels (English, Oral Communications, Special Education, ESOL), to building administrator, to fourteen years in central office administration. My district office experience includes Curriculum & Professional Development Director, ESOL Director, Technology Coordinator, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent. I am passionate about education in Arkansas and the future of our students. I am dedicated to building leadership capacity across the state. I have taught higher education courses in Educational Leadership and in the area of Teaching and Learning. I believe that education is the pathway to improving lives and building stronger communities across the state and nation.
