Jamie Banks holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She is a graduate of Westminster College, Fulton, Mo., with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Jamie is a member of national, state, and local chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Prior to her work at the university, Jamie worked for U.S. Senators Blanche L. Lincoln and Mark Pryor as a state and national fundraiser.
As the Director of Development, Jamie’s primary responsibility is to initiate, coordinate, and secure all private fundraising opportunities for the college. These activities include identifying potential new donors, cultivation of future and current donor relations, gift solicitation, donor proposal delivery, and stewardship of existing donors. The sources for private fundraising opportunities are found in a combination of college and university alumni, other interested individuals, corporations, and private foundations.
Office of Academic and Student Affairs
The Office of Academic and Student Affairs, on the third floor of the Graduate Education
Building, offers a wide range of services. Associate Dean Kate Mamiseishvili oversees the office. Undergraduates come by for assistance in the following: Academic
standards petitions, assistance with registration, change of major, enrollment overload
requests, grade appeals, academic integrity, graduation checks and clearance, degree
verification and athletic verification. OASIS (Office of Academic Student Initiatives and Services) fulfills these needs. The Office
of Academic and Student Affairs also is responsible for academic program review, accreditation,
community relations, encouraging external funding applications, articulation agreements,
curriculum approval and regulation, and a variety of faculty support programs, including
tenure and promotion, faculty development and off-campus duty assignments. The Office of Teacher Education places student interns at area schools as well as assists in licensure for newly

Office of Development
The staff of the Office of Development — including Senior Director of Development Jamie Banks and Major Gift Development Officer Bailey Younger — helps arrange for private gift support for the college's academic and research
units and programs.
Office of the Dean
The college's Office of the Dean oversees many executive functions including coordination,
outreach, communications and media.
