Elizabeth has roots in Upstate New York, but now calls Northwest Arkansas home. She earned her B.A. in Communication from Geneseo State University of New York and earned a M.S. in Sport Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Traveling back to the Finger Lakes Region with her family is something she looks forward to each summer. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys gardening, having cookouts, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Jesse, a graduate of the University of Arkansas, have four children Dillon, Aidan, Tucker and Grace.

Elizabeth McKinley joined the EMSON team in April 2014 as an Academic Counselor for the RN – BSN online program. She “meets” with students over the phone, as several students are pursuing this degree while working full time or in different states. Previously, Elizabeth had spent more than 12 years in higher education in several areas of student services. Elizabeth enjoys speaking with students and engaging them in their educational journey. Her passion for higher education is contagious and highly motivating for students to continue their educational journey.
