Each year, the college’s five departments and the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing present awards to their outstanding alumni. The recipients for 2025 were honored at a spring banquet.

These alumni are significantly influential in their chosen health or education profession and are committed to improving people’s lives.

Communication Disorders and Occupational Therapy Outstanding Alumni

Awarded to a graduate of the Department of Communication Disorders and Occupational Therapy who has significantly advanced their clinical profession through demonstrated excellence and leadership in service, teaching and/or scholarship. 

Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods Outstanding Alumni

Awarded to a graduate of the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods who has significantly advanced scholarship and/or significantly contributed to their professional area of study through service.

Curriculum and Instruction Outstanding Alumni

Awarded to a graduate of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction who has demonstrated exceptional professional achievement and extraordinary dedication to the field of education and teacher preparation.

Education Reform Outstanding Alumni

Awarded to a graduate of the Department of Education Reform who has significantly advanced scholarship, policies or practices to improve education.

Eleanor Mann School of Nursing Outstanding Alumni

Awarded to a graduate of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing who has demonstrated exceptional professional achievement and extraordinary dedication to the field of nursing.

Health, Human Performance and Recreation Outstanding Alumni

Awarded to a graduate of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation who has made outstanding contributions to their profession and demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement and service.
