The elected College Council shall constitute the representative body for the College faculty, acting as a consultative and advisory body to the Dean on matters of faculty concern including general welfare, working conditions and services performed by and for the faculty, policies related to academic and professional research, other scholarly and creative activities, and development. The council manages the annual Faculty & Staff Awards.

The College Council also serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas among members of the faculty. Rights and responsibilities of the faculty reside in the body as a whole, which may overrule council action by a two-thirds vote of the faculty. Further details about the council elaborate on its structure.

CLASS — COEHP Luncheon Academic Seminar Series

The College Council of the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions invites faculty and staff to attend the COEHP Luncheon Academic Seminar Series, or CLASS.

After CLASS sessions focusing on teaching and service last fall, this spring's CLASS sessions will focus on research. The College Council has partnered with the Office for Research and Grant Administration to co-sponsor two CLASS sessions this spring. Both sessions will feature a panel of experts from across the college. Lunch will be provided for both sessions.

Please note the difference in time and location for each session. Space is limited for each session. The online registration form has a space for dietary requests for lunch.
